GAME BASICS
What Is Roulette and How Is It Played?
Roulette is a casino game that uses a numbered wheel and a small ball spun in the opposite direction. When the ball lands on a number or colour, the matching bet wins. The concept is straightforward, but the wide range of betting options makes it a strategy-rich game.
At jaguar4d, players can access roulette tables directly from a mobile phone or computer without downloading any separate application. All sessions run through the web browser, using SSL protection to keep your account data and transactions secure.
There are two main formats available: Live Roulette with real dealers streaming sessions live via HD camera, and RNG Roulette which uses a licensed random number generator for self-paced rounds. Both formats share the same betting interface, so switching between them requires little adjustment.
jaguar4d operates under international licensing, meaning every spin is independently audited to ensure fairness. This gives players confidence that there is no manipulation in game outcomes.
TABLE OPTIONS
Types of Roulette Available at jaguar4d
Each variant has its own betting layout and unique rules. Understand the differences before choosing a table.
European Roulette
A wheel with 37 slots (0–36). A single zero gives players better odds compared to the American version. The most popular format at jaguar4d.
American Roulette
Contains 38 slots including a double zero (00). Betting options remain the same but the house edge is higher due to the extra 00.
Live Roulette
Real dealers stream rounds live. Players can chat with the dealer and see actual results in real time in high video quality.
RNG Roulette
Rounds are generated by licensed software, suited for players who want to play at their own pace without depending on a dealer's schedule.

BET TYPES
Understanding the Roulette Betting Layout
The roulette layout offers dozens of betting options, but they all fall into two broad groups: inside bets and outside bets. Understanding the difference helps you plan a more structured approach.
-
01
Inside Bets — Covers options such as Straight Up (one number), Split (two adjacent numbers), Street (three numbers in a row) and Corner (four numbers in a square). Payouts are higher but the probability of winning is lower.
-
02
Outside Bets — Covers Red/Black, Odd/Even and Dozens. Wins occur more frequently but payout rates are lower. Suited for longer play sessions.
-
03
Call Bets — Found mainly on European tables. Voisins du Zéro, Tiers du Cylindre and Orphelins are number groups based on their position on the wheel, not the layout.
-
04
Neighbours — The player selects one number and the bet automatically covers the numbers to its left and right on the wheel. Available on certain tables at jaguar4d.
BASIC STRATEGIES
Playing Approaches Worth Knowing
No strategy can mathematically change the house edge, but these approaches help manage your bankroll more consistently throughout a session at jaguar4d.
-
01
Martingale — Double your bet after every loss on outside bets. Recovers losses when you win, but requires sufficient bankroll to cover consecutive losing streaks.
-
02
D'Alembert — Add one unit after a loss, remove one unit after a win. A more moderate approach than Martingale, with smaller bankroll swings.
-
03
Fibonacci — Use the Fibonacci sequence (1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8…) as a guide for bet sizes. Bet progression is slower than Martingale.
-
04
Session Limits — Set a win limit and a loss limit before playing. When either limit is reached, end the session. This discipline is more effective than any betting system.
